Short version: we measure aggregate traffic without tracking individual visitors. Correction submissions are stored privately for review.
What this site collects
This site records aggregate daily page views and interaction counts, including program and state links opened and broad referral categories (direct, search, social, or other). It uses no analytics cookies, visitor IDs, raw search text, full referring URLs, or stored IP addresses. Counts cannot identify unique visitors. Your hosting provider processes network information to deliver and protect the site. Aggregate counts are retained for up to 90 days.
The correction form sends the page URL, correction, program, state, and optional email to our private database. We use submissions to maintain the directory and reply when needed. Submissions are retained for up to 90 days. Do not send sensitive personal information.
What this site does not do
- It does not ask for your name, address, Social Security number, income, or anything about a benefits application.
- It does not sell or share visitor data with advertisers, brokers, or data vendors.
- It does not place advertising cookies or build advertising profiles.
Links to other sites
Every directory link opens a government website or an official portal. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may ask for personal information as part of an application. Review their policies before entering information.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser settings; the directory works without them. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws may contact the publisher to ask what data, if any, is held about them.
